Carrickfergus Dog
Kindly on loan from Carrickfergus Museum, this Late Medieval dog forms a part of an ongoing study which investegates the role of dogs in Prehistoric and medieval Ireland. This dog has been radiocarbon dated and we are currently awaiting the results of isotopic analysis which will offer us some insight into it’s diet!
